ITALY – Preliminary information (with no confirmation yet) comes from the Italian press regarding Eurovision 2022 preparations.
Regarding the budget, it seems that everything will go between 20-25 million Euros. Already Turin has offered 7 million Euros.
The same amount will be gathered by the EBU participating nations and the rest from tickets and sponsors.
Turin is expecting a revenue of 9-10 million Euros from the accommodation as 38,000 beds and 18,000 rooms will be used for Eurovision 2022.
Stefano Lo Russo or Paolo Damilano will be appointed as RAI/EBU liaison to be heading the city promo and organisation for Eurovision, promoting the culture and Turin all the way till May 2022.
Regarding Eurocafè there is a suggestion for PalaVela.
Regarding EuroVillage there is a suggestion for San Carlo square.
Eurovision Village, Eurovision Fan Mile, EuroCLub are yet to be decided and always under provisions for COVID-19.
The first wave of ticket sales is expected by mid-December…
