The Rasmus, Finlandโs representative in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, will take over the Eurovision stage in the second Semi-Final on Thursday 12 May, pursuing a place in the Grand Final on Saturday, May 14.
After an intense week of rehearsals in Turin, The Rasmus is radiating confidence and focusing on the Semi-Final on Thursday. The band has a completely new show for the Eurovision contest, and the viewers are in for something totally different from their local Contest for New Music (UMK) final performance.
โThe first week of rehearsals went great! The setting here is brilliant, and we have complete confidence in the professional Eurovision stage team, as they have met every challenge involved in making our challenging show a reality. The Eurovision atmosphere in Turin is palpable, and there are broad smiles on peopleโs faces. It is a great honour to represent Finland in such a fantastic event”, the band says.
During their first week in Turin, the band has done a lot of practising, press interviews and conferences, their first-ever street gig, and a special joint stunt with Ukraineโs Eurovision entry Kalush Orchestra.
