ITALY –ย The mess with the EUROVISION 2022 tickets happened again. Every year the tickets are sold out within minutes and 2022 couldn’t differ, especially being the first event in two years to open to the public as normal as the pandemic allows.
Although EBU reported (around 10:30 CEST) that the Grand Final tickets are sold out, lots of fans reported problems accessing and finalising their purchase as of 10:07 CEST.
Possibly potential buyers access the sales page but then do not complete the purchase, thus making the temporarily blocked tickets available again.
Not sure if there will be a second wave of ticket sales. At the time of writing, there are some relating only to the second semifinal Family Show.
Instead, the Family Show of the first semifinal and the Jury Show of the second semifinal appear and disappear.
For those who have not been able to buy the desired tickets, however, the last word is not said: from 14 April on FANSALE.IT the legally authorized resale service will be available starting from Thursday 14 April until Thursday 5 May (the page dedicated to Eurovision, for the record, already exists).
On this site, in essence, it will be possible to find tickets that the original buyers will no longer be able to use for reasons of any kind.
If, on the other hand, it is necessary to change the name, it can be done from Monday 2 May at 10 am to Thursday 5 May at 6 pm, through Ticketone.
