MONTENEGRO – In a recent interview, Montenegro’s entrant VLADANA expressed her disappointment with the Italian organisation for Eurovision 2022.
Initially, she said she didn’t want the EBU to choose the precise footage from the second practice. She intended to keep the dress construction a mystery until the semifinal night. Her “halo” reacts to the sound with her voice or music, giving us an astounding outcome.
She elaborated on the sun-shaped structure in the stage’s centre. This specific structure was designed to move across the stage to suit each mission’s needs. Of course, the sun’s weight made such a thing impossible. So it was agreed to remain in a familiar spot. A few days before the supplies arrived in Turin, Vladana informed all countries of the decision.
“I will be honest. I am very disappointed with some things about this year’s Eurovision. Everyone told me that Eurovision is the perfection of production but… it is not so! I do not know if Italy is responsible for this because it left it all at the last minute and look now what happened! Two days before we arrived in Turin we were informed that the sun would not be able to work.
The Italian organisers barely met 5% of the country’s public television’s requests, while numerous visuals, planning, and notably lighting required last-minute solutions.
