ITALY – The Eurovision Song Contest 2022 will be held in Turin on May 10, 12, and 14, 2022. PalaOlimpico will host the 2022 competition. The arena, which opened in 2005, has hosted a variety of concerts and sporting events, including the ice hockey tournaments during the 2006 Winter Olympics.
In 2022, the contest will be directed by only two people, whereas the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 was directed by three people: Marnix Kaart, Marc Pos, and Daniel Jelinek. The contest will not have three directors for the first time since 2015.

Duccio Forzano and Cristian Biondani have been named the directors of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, which will be held in Turin, Italy. Both members of the Eurovision 2022 directing team have extensive experience that will help them with the task of directing next year’s contest.
Duccio Forzano has worked in Sanremo six times since 2010, the most recent time being in 2019. He also has extensive experience directing local TV shows. Cristian Biondani directed the Junior Eurovision Song Contest alongside Gordon Bonello in 2015, and he also worked on the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2011.
