GOOGLE TRENDS 2014 – Conchita Wurst was one of the hottest keyboard trends this year. But Queen of Austria is not the only Eurostar that entered the Google trends.
In Spain, Ruth Lorenzo was the 10th most googled celebrity in her homeland. Probably one of the biggest surprises of this year’s contest was the second place that Common Linnets brought to the land of tulips and clogs, so there is no surprise that Ilse de Lange was the second most googled famous person there.
Also, we all know that Eurovision and Melodifestivalen are a big passion in Sweden so no one should wonder that they are the two most searched TV shows, also Conchita runs the list of famous people with Ace Wilder and Sanna Nielsen right beside her.
In Greece Freaky Fortune and Risky Kidd didn’t make it in the Google trends but Eurovision was one of the hot topics of the year as it ranked amongst top three topics.
And last but not the least was the trend of Junior Eurovision in Bulgaria. It was the eighth most searched term online. This is a big success for all mentioned Eurostars and Eurovision also. The trends are rising and there is no doubt that they will be even higher as we are approaching the 60 year jubilee.
