For the fifth year in a row, Europe’s biggest Eurovision promo event ‘Eurovision in Concert’ will take place in the Netherlands. Amsterdam will once again be the event’s host city and several contestants in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest are expected to strike down in the Dutch capital. The date of this year’s edition is set on Saturday, April 13.
As usual the event consists out of 2 parts: a day program (for press only) and a concert, which will be held in Melkweg; one of Amsterdam’s most popular music venues – located in the heart of the city centre. The concert will be hosted this year by 2 former Dutch Eurovision representatives: Marlayne Sahupala (ESC 1999) and Linda Wagenmakers (ESC 2000).
While most countries are still in the selection process for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, some countries have already confirmed their participation for ‘Eurovision in Concert’. Confirmed acts are: France, Switzerland, Belarus and FYR Macedonia.
More participating countries/acts will be announced in the upcoming weeks. For info, tickets and press accreditation, please visit: http://www.eurovisioninconcert.nl
