Broadcaster SVT has confirmed that the Melfest 2020 lineup will be announced on Tuesday 26 November. The broadcaster confirmed the date today in a press release. The announcement will be made at a special event hosted by SVT.

It is still unknown whether France will use DESTINATION EUROVISION as the televised national selection next year. The broadcaster removed all previous tips from the event and re-designs the entire strategy for the selection process. It looks like the French broadcaster wants to clean up its online platforms in anticipation of its upcoming rebirth. There are suggestions within the broadcaster to return to internal selections.
AUSTRIA 🇦🇹
According to reports, Austrian broadcaster ORF have already selected their entry for the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. There has been no official confirmation from the broadcaster as of yet, however, internal sources have confirmed the news to local fansite. Last year, Austria had gone for an internal selection, announcing their artist at the end of January, and revealing their song in March.
