Danish are going to celebrate the Eurovision Song Contest mot likely more than anyone else next year as they host the 2014 edition in their home soil. Eurovisionary.com reports that a party titled En Hyldestkoncert (Tribute concert) til Melodi Grand Prix 1957 – 2014 will take place on May 3rd with previous Eurovision participants on stage performing. The ticket costs 998 DKK but includes welcome drink and buffet and there will be free shuttlebusses after the show.

1984: Det’ Lige Det – performed by Kirsten & Søren, the original singers who also represented Denmark in 1985 and 1988

1990: Hallo Hallo – performed by the original singer Lonnie Devantier
