BRUSSELS, BELGIUM – Last night Greek Cypriot superstar Anna Vissi performed in Brussels at the Palais des beaux Arts in Brussels at the Cyprus Unplugged Concert, a benefit for the countries current financial situation.
The singer gave a fantastic performance and kept on going which was highly appreciated by the over 1,200 people attending the event. When talking earlier this week to our colleagues from eurosong.be she told about Eurovision as a sweet mistake, but definately she’s still following it closely.
The returnal of Portugal to Eurovision hasnt stayed unnoticed to the Greek Cypriot superstar. She made yesterday a clear statement and support to one of Portugese best vocalists Rui Andrade to get the ticket for his countries at the upcoming selections, whether it will be an open final or internal selection. More news on that is expected by the end of the month.
So after Eurovision winner Ruslana, Anna Vissi is the second big Eurovision star who is giving a clear preference on who should be representing Portugal. Go Portugal go and decide wisely!
