GREECE – Following the ERT announcement for internal selection, record labels started submitting their bids for Italy’s Eurovision 2022 edition.
Moments ago, ERT’s afternoon show STUDIO4 revealed the first submissions.
Good Job Nicky, Constantinos Christoforou, Evangelia, Ioanna Georgakopoulou have officially submitted a song for Eurovision 2022. For both Evangelia and Good Job Nicky, oikotimes was the first to report their names during the summer! (and guess what: we are confirmed again!)
Good Job Nicky is the son of legendary Greek singer Yannis Parios and is heavily promoted by the music industry in Greece.
Constantinos Christoforou is trying once again for Eurovision. He represented Cyprus in 1996, 2002, and 2005.
Ioanna Georgakopoulou (despite her public denial) is the winner of ΤΗΕ VOICE OF GREECE last season, an artist who immediately disappeared from the spotlights. Recently she re-appeared in the media as the artists became mostly known for her partial eyesight problem.
Evangelia is a Greek-American singer and lives in New Jersey, becoming viral with her songs “PAME PAME” and “FOTIA”.
Submissions are due on 10/10.
