Olivier Rocher from France
As a Gallic guy, I have to be objective here. But I must confess I’m very proud of my homeland entry this year. Pride is a feeling that most French haven’t felt in years as far as Eurovision is concerned. “J’ai Cherché” is a more than pleasant song, with good rhythm, good lyrics, good tune and a nice feeling of simplicity. The performer, Amir, is a great performer and does embody the simplicity and joy of the song. When listening to it, you just wanna clap to the rhythm and sing along the “Youuuuuuu” lyric. For once, I can tell that the French entry can be considered a dark horse for victory, not to say a serious contender. The staging will once again be very important, but we can trust Amir and the new French delegation, they will do good in Stockholm, and we may even hear several times something that we haven’t heard in years… “France douze points”!
Fred Medeiros from United Kingdom
Thank you France. Finally we have a song that Europe will listen to. France hasn’t had a top 5 finish since 2002 but with Amir they stand a good chance of a top 3 finish. Amir’s very commercial “J’ai cherché” has a catchy sing along chorus and he seems like a genuinely nice guy. This should do well with the juries but will the public back it? I think if France performs in the second half of the final the audience will pick up their phones and possibly take us to Paris next year.
Luka Popovic from Serbia
France is sending a modern song this year that has the potential to be a real chart topper across the continent. It is contemporary and catchy. Amir has already performed his entry live and shown off his good vocal abilities, so he should do well on stage in Stockholm. With a good performance, France is likely to return to the top five after more than a decade. It could win but I think that will depend a lot on the running order. This is a strong entry and should do well.

by me also. (one of the only 3 countries that I give the )
FRANCE has got by far the highest score and it really looks like that
will be the Winner in the Oikotimes euro panel.
(I don’t expect neither of these 5 countries to score higher score obviously)
(the other hot favorite Russia scored just 79 points & Australia even less..)
