FRANCE – The press conference held by the French national broadcaster enlighten us all with the procedure of Eurovision France, c’est vous qui décidez, the show through which the country will decide its entry and artist for Eurovision 2021.
Stéphane Bern and Laurence Boccolini will host on France2, the national final which will have 12 participants and the winner will be decided by jury and televoting in ratio 50%, each.
700 songs submitted for Eurovision 2021, 20 of which got an audition with the preliminary jury ending up to the 12 finalists.
The national final will take place in Paris, in a television studio and will include three phases. In the first phase, 7 songs will proceed to the final voting. The jury will give the 8th qualifier to the ultimate voting as a wildcard. Then public and jury voting will start from scratch and the decision will be reached in the final round of voting by the jury and public voting.
French national broadcaster also announced the jury of the national final: Amir, Maria Myriam, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Natasha St-Pier, Duncan Laurence (Eurovision 2019 winner), Chimène Badi, André Manoukian, Elodie Gossuin, Augustin Galiana, Michèle Bernier.
Head of Delegation, Alexandra Redde-Amiel stated that the French national final was inspired by Melodifestivalen. Though the date for the national final has not been announced, although many of us expecting it within January.

Η αρχηγός αποστολής της Γαλλίας στον διαγωνισμό,, δήλωσε πως έμπνευση της γαλλικής τηλεόρασης ήταν το Melodifestivalen της Σουηδίας, ενώ υποστήριξε ότι αντικατοπτρίζεται μεταξύ των υποψηφίων, η σύγχρονη μουσική σκηνή της χώρας.
