BUDAPEST, HUNGARY – So tonight was the night why we came to Budapest. We first had some trouble reaching MTV’s studios but when we finally got there, very pleasent staff has welcomed us. We just came in when the final rehearsal were finishing, so as you will we managed to take pictures of several contestants. You will also see that a lot of people came there, so the studio was filled by the last seat. Before the show started we had to go to the press room and watch the show from there because I wouldn’t be able to use laptop inside of the studio.
While watching the show, I talked a bit with the other people in press room who weren’t journalists. They all agreed that Viktor KIraly, Kallay-Saunders, Bogi and Fool Moon will be in top four. So after jury has voted, only shock was that both songs that had Hungarian lyrics ended up with null points. Straight after the show we went to another room, where after party and press conference was suppose to be held. We all waited a bit for Kallay, but we didn’t let that time to be waisted. I went arround the room to interview people how do they feel about Kallay’s win, what to they think he will do in Copenhagen.
I’ve also talked with two former Hungarian representatives Compact Disco band member and Magdi Rusza and also with host of A Dal and voting spokesperson Eva Novodomszky. While I was interviewing people, Alex was taking pictures and there you will see that the room was getting crowed by minute. We also managed to get an original double CD with all A Dal entries that Kallay has signed and we will give it to one you.
I have to mention that while talking with Kallay I got the impression that he is really one down to Earth guy. He was really friendly to all the press and all the fans who wanted his statement or picture. In the end I would like to say that this was an amazing experience I that I am glad that Kallay has finally won A Dal. There is no doubt that he will decently represent Hungary this May. Who knows, maybe next year we will all go to beautiful Budapest. Also one big thanks to Aleksandar Pesic for making all of those amazing photos.
