CHISINAU, MOLDOVA – One of the most popular events of the year โ the 60th Eurovision Song Contest โ will soon be held in Vienna. Ukrainian singer Eduard Romanyuta will be representing Moldova this year. He embarked on an promotional tour of some of the participating counties to present his song and meet with his fans. Eduard has already visited almost half of the countries from his promotional tour (there are 10!)
Eduard Romanyuta started his promotional tour from Georgia, where he performed with the most popular female singer of Georgia Sofico Gelovani (who happened to represented Georgia at Eurovision back in 2013). This was Soficoโs first appearance on a stage after she gave birth โ all in the show of support for Eduard. For Romanyuta, their performance was very emotional and he will always hold it in his heart. In Tbilisi, Eduard also had a meeting with Nina Sublatti, who will be representing Georgia at Eurovision 2015. Eduard gave TV and radio interviews, where he also performed “I Want Your Love”, his Eurovision entry.
In Latvia, Eduard attended one of the four biggest pre-parties of Eurovision 2015, which was organized by the Latvian fan club of the ESC. There, Romanyuta once again met with Sublatti and struck friendship with participants from six other counties.
SUPPORT MOLDOVA IN EUROPREDICTION
Eduard Romanyuta was very happy to meet Ukrainian singer Zlata Ognevich, with whom he performed at the national selection contest for Eurovision before. In Riga, he had a press conference with participants of ESC 2015, performed at Palladium, which houses the biggest stage in the city, and later was given a tour of the old Riga.
From Latvia Eduard went to Austria, where in Salzburg he finished shooting for his postcard for Eurovision. The story is being kept in secret, but we can tell you that Eduard won a rather interesting competition in Austria. We hope that all of the following competitions involving Eduard in Austria will be no less successful for him!
Upon the invitation from the Serbians fan club Romanyuta visited Belgrade. There, he met with participants of ESC 2015 from the former Yugoslavia. Most of them will perform in the semi-final on 19th of May. Eduard met with his fans, took photos and signed autographs. The next day he introduced his song on national TV channels and radio stations.
Eduard gave one of his best performances at one of the biggest parties, attended by 24 participants, in the Netherlands. Everybody was awed by that wild and pure energy that he gave them. The representative of Moldova came to the so-called “dress-rehearsal” of the big Eurovision thoroughly prepared and was one of the few participants of the show who gave a very energetic presentation that featured backing dancers. Romanyuta gave more than 20 interviews there to journalists of ESCKAZ, ESCBubble, Eurovision-Ireland, Eurosong.be and others.
“This promotional tour is a very important experience for me. I’m not only sharing my creation with my fans from various parts of Europe but I also gained experience from other participants. I am grateful that Moldova has given me the opportunity to represent them at Eurovision, and I’m glad that I can connect Ukraine, Moldova and Europe though music and performance” – said Romanyuta.
Soon, Eduard Romanyuta will be visiting Great Britain, Greece, Poland, Armenia and FYR Macedonia. In the meantime Eduard and his team have been spending all their free time to rehearse for the main performance at the contest.
You can check out how the performance will shape up for yourself during the semi-final on 19th of May, but we will start reveling some details of his performance and other secrets very soon!
