GEORGIA – Tornike was selected by Georgia Public Television (GPB) to represent the country at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest with the song You.
The singer wrote and composed the song himself, which is in English and is a mixture of rock, pop-rock and blues-rock music and is about love. However, the song has not won the impressions as the artist most likely expected.
Rushed by the negative reviews he has received for his song, Tornike made an inappropriate post on his personal Facebook account, where he not only degrades the institution of Eurovision but also uses vulgar expressions insulting all fans. and not but also their families.
“This is my song for Eurovision 2021. Listen to it and have fun. Many thanks to the public broadcaster, Bravo Record, Gori Girls โTeam, Mariko Lezhava, Mariam Shengelia and Aleko Berdzenishvili. It is a pity that such a project is promoted through Eurovision which is a shitshow. I will write it here, it is your right to see the clip and whoever says something negative about the song will f*** your mother. Thank you very much for being by my side.”
There are already huge reactions. We hope EBU intervenes along the Georgian national broadcaster. Regarding Tornike, the macho Georgian representative, we reply that we will definitely not support an artist with such an attitude.
