Nodiko Tatishvili (Nodar) and Sopho Gelovani just announced as the Georgian representatives in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. The announcement came on Facebook this morning. Early morning news reported the story as top story as you can see in the video here.
INFORMATION ON NODAR
Nodiko (Nodar) Tatishvili was born on November 5, 1986 year in a family of Polygraphists. He was 6 years old when he made his first appearance in the Tbilisi Great Concert Hall. He was a soloist of children ensemble. At the age of eight he won the national contest, and already at age 9 singing with the ensemble Iveria in the musical Two Dwarfs. During the “mutation period” Nodiko took a part in the television project “School of Nutsa” and after that many popular composers and musicians seriously got interested in him. In the periods from 2005 to 2009, Nodiko has participated in many prestigious music festivals and projects, but in 2009 he was featured in the popular Georgian TV show Geostar, where he won and became GEOSTAR 2009(pop idol 2009) After the victory in Geostar Nodiko Tatishvili became the most popular and demanded young singer in the whole Georgia. after that he went to uk (London) where he had vocal classes at the musical institute where the teachers and student also had been inspired with his vocal. He is working on a debut album now, which will be launched in May 2011.
INFO ON SOPHO GELOVANI
Gratuating from music school in 2006, Sopho is the winner of local TV show for kids. She spent several year in Saint Petersburg developing her career. She participated in several contests winning prizes like in 2003 in Saint Petersburg, 2006 in Moldova and 2007 in Saint Petersburg again. She got first prize in Armenian festival in 2000 and 2007 Russian international festival of performers adding more awards later on in Russia as well.

Georgia will never win so why we bother with them they send crap songs to Eurovision anyway
I agree oiko, GPB did the same thing with me because I didn’t like their song last year: it’s a shame how a national broadcaster treats negative comments. Shame on them
