GERMANY – The 1982 Eurovision winner Nicole Seibert is making her return to music events after a five-year absence.
Nicole Seibert’s new hit is signed by Heniz Rudolf Kunze and Jens Carstens. This is a dance-pop track that is already available on all music platforms.
By listening to Nicole’s new song and to our surprise there was found an amazing similarity – especially in the chorus and its instrumental part – with “Die for you” by our beloved Antique.
The lyrics of the song are in German, but the melody is almost identical to that of our favourite Greek entry.
We remind you that “Die for you” brought us to third place in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2001, when Elena Paparizou and Nikos Panagiotidis were on the stage of the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, thus reviving our country’s interest in the musical institution.
Nicole has covered many Eurovision songs during her multi-year career, but informally the following question is asked: Does the successful German artist continue to stick to the same cover pattern or is this similarity rather coincidental?
