ATHENS, GREECE – While the menace of the Greeks is gearing up with almost 95% messages on the web to be more than negative, the Greek delegation is preparing for Stockholm.
While Greece is 30th in the betting odds! (congratulations ERT) the national broadcaster, the choreographer Maria Lyraraki and the band ARGO decided to replace a band member with a dancer.
Elias Kesides, member of the band will be replaced by the dancer Vassals Roxenos who will make the dance act of the absolutely dance song Greece has this year (yes I am being totally ironic).
One more desperate act by the talented choreographer Maria Lyraraki in an effort to save whatever can be saved from this song which definitely doesn’t represent anyone in Greece but only the national broadcaster. After all the Greek public was neither asked about the artist nor the song (at least).

That’s not journalism, it’s pure hatred. Goodbye oikotimes, I’ll stop checking your website, enough is enough.
i mean the streams of spotify
feel free to delete that comment as well. Instead of just been bitchy try to critisize in a proper manner!!! Go get some pics of Sergey who you clear push even the song is so average just because he has a hot body!!! And from the streams of instagram Barei, Amir, Fran, Just, Jamie-Lee Kriewitz doing way much better!!! Just mentioning a few
Why re Fotaki so bitter about the entry!!! Yes we got glykia mou!!! You dont like it but maybe that’s a change from the skylotragouda of Sarbel or Alkaiou
*Watch My Dance* was really great song.So much better than *Utopian Land*.
So its not the same at all.
I don’t dislike our song this year but i do not really like it either.
To me its ok song but too weak.
If we won’t manage to qualify from the SF i really will not be surprised this time.
Same thing happened in 2011 when nobody liked Watch my dance but that song came in first with 133 points in the semifinal ahead of eventual winner Azerbaijan, which placed 2nd with 123 points and in the final Greece came in at 7th with 120 points. Remember this is EuroVISION, emphasis on the vision. There have been many instances where songs that don’t sound great become a hit on the stage because of a good presentation and there have been songs that were considered heavy favorites going into the competition only to flop big time in the semi final and have an unexpected early exit. By the way journalists of oikotimes, I have only one advice for you: GO BACK TO SCHOOL AND LEARN ENGLISH! Your grammar is horrible.
Loukas Giorkas was SELECTED by Greek audience dear – I rest my case
What was Loukas Giorkas’ song “Watch my dance” better than this, except of the fact that it was, indeed, chosen by the people to represent Greece? I think you were deeply unfair from the beginning towards Argo’s song “Utopian land” and that it was also you who contributed to the widespread hate and negativism regarding it. Doesn’t the Pontian lyra represent any Greeks? Well, if really so, I think that the greatest crisis Greece is going through is it’s denial of identity, but not the economical or refugees crisis.
