GREECE – The vintage pop-rock band MOBVIBE informed us through a press release, about its candidacy in ERT regarding the representation of Greece in the next Eurovision.
The band, signed by the record company KINKL Music, submitted their proposals last night on the last day of the deadline. These are 3 pop-rock songs composed by the band itself.
The main characteristics of the 3 songs are the happy, uplifting and optimistic style, the extremely positive energy they transmit, as well as the riveting musical interest that results from the fact that they combine the Beatles vintage pop with the modern dance music, under the name “nusixties” .
Based in Thessaloniki and fueled by the pop-rock invasion of 1960, the 4-member Mobvibe were founded in 2010 with the release of their first single “Take a look around” and worked for almost a decade to be able to connect the past with the present, creating the kind of music “nusixties”.
In their EP debut “The Nusixties Invasion Part 1” released in 2018, Mobvibe presented four psychedelic pop-rock hymns that stood out for their unique rhythm, melody and energy and were warmly welcomed by many international music blogs.
