ITALY – Turin is hosting a top event this period. The NITTO ATP finals are already considered also a test event for Eurovision 2022 but the weather is not in favour of the city!
Due to the bad weather that hit Turin starting from the weekend, the pavilions set up in the square were flooded and people took shelter there, creating gatherings.
The storm forced the operators of the great tennis event to take quick countermeasures to avoid flooding. Brushes to dry the carpeted pavilions, dark cloths to protect against water. Fans practically disappeared.
The apocalyptic scenes have immediately raised controversy in the city.

The new mayor Lo Russo is particularly angry because in fact he found a dossier edited by the others and had no way of making changes.
The organization entrusted to a management committee in which the former councillor of the Appendino junta, Alberto Sacco, still represents the city, and for the region, there is even the former candidate and political opponent of Lo Russo, Paolo Damilano.
Lessons to be learned in anticipation of 2022. Rainproof villages can and must be created.
They know this well in Vienna, where they fought against bad weather all week, putting in well-orchestrated choices (for example, a ban on umbrellas at the sports hall but free distribution of rain capes).
In the meantime, EBU’s people are posting proudly photos and videos from Turin and Eurovision 2022 venue.
