THE NETHERLANDS – As reported, on December 15th ZIGGO DOME in Amsterdam will host 21 Eurovision stars on stage. The show HET GROTE SONGFESTIVALFEEST, will feature the Marcel Fisser band. NPO will broadcast the show on January 1st. Tickets cost 40 – 80 Euros.
The Ding-a-Dong song from Teach Inn will be for the Netherlands sung by Marlayne and Mandy Huydts. Ruth Jacott (1993) and Edsilia Rombley (1998 and 2007) will also perform their Eurovision entries again.
PROBLEM WITH HELENA?
Despite the official announcement and the addition of Helena Paparizou in the line-up, there seems there is a big problem with her participation.
MY NUMBER ONE SINGER, after a successful summer tour, a smashing appearance at ALL STARS CONCERT, is participating as a coach in THE VOICE OF GREECE show. It seems that SKAI TV, where the show is broadcast, will be airing the live shows at the same day and time as the recorded bind auditions. Those days are Fridays and Sundays.
This means that if the lv shos proceed with the same scheduling, Helena will not be able to fly in The Netherlands on the 15th of December to perform.
Of course, negotiations are ongoing and soon there will be an official announcement.
Loreen, Netta and more than 20 acts will participate in the event.
Stay tuned for more information!
