BELGIUM – Hooverphonic, Belgium’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 and 2021, launched a new version of “Mad About You“, the first release after the return of Geike Arnaert.
After the announcement of the departure of Luka Crysberghs for the return of former vocalist Geike Arnaert, Hooverphonic, Belgium’s representative at the Eurovision Festival 2020 and 2021, released a new version of “Mad About You“.
The song, released exactly 20 years ago, was re-recorded by the group at an instrumental and voice level, giving it a “more melancholy and disturbing tone“.
Chosen internally, Hooverphonic would have represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with “Release Me”, a song that would dispute the first semifinal of the event.
The group has already been confirmed as the country’s representative in next year’s competition.
