BUDAPEST, HUNGARY – The team of oikotimes.com is following closely A Dal 2015, the show through which Hungary will decide its participation in the 60th Eurovision Song Contest. In this post we review the third heat entries, presenting you the songs and inviting you to vote for the your favourites (you can vote up to three of them). In the first heat you predicted 3 out of 6 qualifiers to the final.
Gajer Balint – That’s How It Goes – A bit of jazz didn’t kill no one. Add a burlesque performance and it will be perfect for your eyes and ears. With his looks, final is guaranteed.
Barbara Peter – Listen To The Universe – At first rhythms I thought I’m gonna fell a sleep listening to this song, but then something hit me and I fell in love with it. Another amazing song in the last semifinal. I really hope it will qualify.
Boggie – Wars For Nothing – Yes it’s Boggie, not Bogi, they are two different persons. Well, we had so much songs that called for better world, for world without wars, for peace… I think you agree we don’t need another one.
Fool Moon – Back 2 Right – Vocal group are in the game again. You can either like this type of “music” and songs, either no. There’s not much to say, but that they do sound good and it is all about your taste here.
Ildiko Keresztes – Hazad hazam lehet – You can figure out that she is an experienced singer and that she has her style, but sometimes someone should explain to those singers that they should get out of their comfort zone. Song sounds like a Hungarian version of a song from Disney’s children movie. I’m just mellow about it.
Kati Wolf – Ne Engedj El – She stayed in her style and as we heard her perform this song live, I have to say that her vocal capabilities have improved. As for the song, I believe that people will like it, and maybe even give Kati second chance to improve her previous score.
Other Planet – Untold Story – Intro sounded like When Love Takes Over and again during the song you will have a deja vu feeling. It is a very nice pop/rock song, almost Brit pop. Personally, I don’t like the singer voice, but that doesn’t mean you won’t.
Proof Of Life – Hol A Hatar – At one moment I thought I’m listening to Kallay’s Running. It’s pop, it’s hip hop, it’s a bit of everything. Maybe if someone else was singing it would sound better, but like this it’s not so good for me.
Spoon – Keep Marching On – Typical boy band song. They look and sound cute, so there is no doubt that girls will vote for them, but honestly it’s nothing special, we’ve all heard songs like this many many times.
Mujahid Zoli – Beside You – One more emotional songs. It starts as a ballad, but with first chorus, the tempo gets up. His voice is very nice and goes along with song perfectly, no struggle at all.
