BUDAPEST, HUNGARY – Hungarian national broadcaster kicks off the national selection for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. Those interested can submit their songs by november 25th midnight. You can find the rules for the participation in the national final are available here (in Hungarian and English).
Besides the EBU rules, those submitting songs must have released a music album or have national airplay or television appearances, a valid record label contract and a professional management. Artists must be Hungarian citizens or speak Hungarian as their native language. Authors can be from Hungary or Europe.
Although no information for the next and final phase of the national selection are not available, there will be an online acoustic song contest with all submitted songs to A Dal 2016.
