REYKJAVIK, ICELAND – Maria Olafs, Iceland’s representative at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, has said she is considering brining Friðrik Dór, who was the runner up at the Icelandic national Eurovision selection this Saturday, with her to Vienna as her backing vocalist.
During a TV interview, Olafs said that it hasn’t been decided yet whether Fridrik will be coming to Vienna but hinted at the possibility after the show’s host joked that it has now been announced on TV and had to happen.
The composer of Iceland’s 2015 Eurovision entry, “Unbroken”, also wrote Friðrik Dór’s entry “Once Again”, making the possible partnership highly likely.
