ROME, ITALY – The Italian representatives at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, Il Volo, have expressed their disappointment at missing out on winning the title.
The trio consisting of members Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble say, “It was a slight disappointment. We were first in the televoting, but we didn’t win with the jury and there is anger. How do we go back?” However, the trio say their Eurovision entry “Grande Amore” was a tunring point in their careers, “We could not imagine a year or two ago that one day we would fill an arena. Grande amore has changed our lives and has given us the opportunity to create a repertoire and gain many fans”, they said.
