KYIV, UKRAINE – Famous Ukrainian composer and producer Mikhail Nekrasov will be in charge of composing the music for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Kyiv’s Palace Ukraina.
The man is no stranger to Eurovision as he is behind many successful Ukrainian entries: he composed Zlata Ognevich’s “Gravity” (2013), Tina Karol’s “Show Me Your Love” (2006) and did the arrangements for Ruslana’s “Wild Dances” (2004) or even for Sofia Tarasova’s “We Are one”, this year’s junior entry for Ukraine.
Nekrasov’s work for Junior Eurovision is a whole project, involving 70 musicians from all over the world, from Australia to Kazakhstan, as well as the hosts of the show Zlata Ognevich and Timur Miroshnichenko! The composition was made in accordance with this year’s motto “Be Creative!”.
The result will be revealed on November 30th, during the 7 minute interval act.
