KYIV, UKRAINE – Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Konstantin Gryshchenko met with the organizers of Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and lots of information came out from that meeting.
Both sides are happy that with Junior Eurovision they will once again show to the world the country’s hospitality and ability to host an international event. After all they already hosted the 2005 senior Eurovision edition and in 2009 the junior one. The 2013 Junior Eurovision edition coincides with the Third Summit of the East partnership in Vilnius.
Deputy Prime Minister was also happy on how the artistic approach of the contest is made inspiring the youth to be creative and expressed the confidence that the country will organize a high leveled show.
The budget for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest is around 3 million Euros (25 million UAH) as this amount granted to the organizers though is pennding for final approval and payment by the State Treasury.
Previously it was announced that during the Junior Eurovision weeek besides the rehearsals there will be massive activities for the press, media and delegations with excursions, visits to city museums and interactive knowledge of the Ukrainian culture.
It is also known that the coverage of the competition in technical terms will be given a new aspect with cinema format and grapphics, effects which will be implemented in the live feed and will bring a lot of excitement to the viewers.
The spokepersons will be in distance from the hosts in a special stage made for them. The jury names will be revealed on the final night (November 30th) by the commentators and there will be international and Ukrainian stars performing in the interval act.
