CYPRUS
Preliminary reports from AGB Nielsen Cyprus show that Junior Eurovision has to have reached less than 70,000 viewers on November 15th as the top 25 programs last week ended up with number 25 in almost 70,000 viewers. This means that the TV rating must have been less than 19%. We are contacting Cypriot press to find out the exact figures. The preliminary report shows that Junior Eurovision 2014 was a failure as well in Cyprus despite the fact the country was a hot favourite for 2 months in the polls and press publications.
BULGARIA
In Bulgaria the 2014 Junior Eurovision final was the most watched show on television on the night of November 15th. BNT managed to have 40% of the market share as 1 million viewers tuned to watch the show. After all Bulgaria was tipped as hot favourites for months now and they managed to rank 2nd in the voting.
ITALY
The winner country of the contest though had an impressive failure in TV ratings. It is reported that the TV ratings of the show was 0,66% which means than 150,000 people watched the show on RAI Gulp. Impressive is that from those 150,000 viewers 80% were over 65 years of age. Despite having the trophy the contest failed in Italy big time!

hang on a second. RAI Gulp is a minority channel for kids within a country of hundreds of minority channels and you say that 0.66% is a *failure*??, yet 19% in Cyprus is also a failure??
The Netherlands: 676.000 viewers, market share 10,3%. Which are more viewers than last year.
