SOFIA, BULGARIA – Bulgarian national broadcaster is standing by for the decision of the Italian national broadcaster whether they will host the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, something which is expected to happen by the end of this week acceding to BNT. If not Bulgaria is standing by to bid for hosting as they ranked 2nd.
In the meantime, after one month from Junior Eurovision 2014 and despite the plans to publish split results, EBU’s Junior Eurovision team is silent over this failing once again to present split results. Their official reason so far was they don’t want to add more pressure to children who participated and had to experience the aftermath of their result.
EDITOR’S VIEW?
We cannot help it but wonder: was there enough tele voting to make a split voting? Were juries the only votes used in most countries? Will EBU finally go public with the international TV ratings of the event? Will these figures that might give a clear view about the contest, be finally public and not kept as top secret?

It’s a shame Italy is not eager to do it! The mistake may turn out to be correct as many people consider Bulgaria the real winner. I’m also curious about the internet voting results. Italy’s victory seems quite manufactured – Bulgaria’s televoting points from the JESC site are the most but the subjective kids jury and San Marino in particular tipped the scales..
The contest is a waste of time – time to get rid
I have an idea for if Italy hosts next year:
HOST CITY: Rome
VENUE: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/PalaLottomatica PalaLottomatica
DATE: December 5, 2015
HOST(S): Emma Marrone, Nina Zilli, and Marco Mengoni
