SOFIA, BULGARIA – 17 countries will participate in the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest and EBU announced the list with the participating countries which includes Australia as well. It is the highest number of participating countries since 2007. Ireland debuts to the contest.
The show takes place at Arena Amreec in Sofia on November 21st with participants from 10 to 15 years old while the winner will be decided by jury and tele voting.
Managing Director Michael Ebeid said that SBS has been broadcasting the Eurovision Song Contest for over 30 years, and Junior Eurovision since it began in 2003:
