PRESS RELEASE – The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and its Polish Member TVP have revealed the official logo and slogan for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 which will be held in Gliwice -Silesia, Poland.
โShare the Joyโ was announced during press conference at the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Gert Kark (JESC Project Manager) was joined by Roksana Wฤgiel – winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018, along with Konrad Smuga (Creative Director) and Marta Piekarska (Project Coordinator) from host broadcaster TVP.
The logo features a brightly coloured kite, symbolizing freedom, lightness and shared happy moments, which the slogan โShare the Joyโ. The creative concept represents how working together makes us better and stronger and how it can bring us joy and happiness as we celebrate the beautiful things in life.
At the press conference TVP also presented official promotional materials of the City of Gliwice and the Silesian Province and a video of Roksana Wฤgielโs spectacular victory with Anyone I Want to Be at the 2018 Contest, in Minsk, Belarus.
The 17th Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Arena Gliwice, one of the largest and most modern sports and entertainment venues in Poland, on Sunday 24 November. Poland appeared in the inaugural Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 and has taken part in the competition a total of five times, returning in 2016 after an 11-year break.
