ICELAND –ย After performing a virtual performance for Psychonauts 2 last month, Dai Freyr has decided to take his passion for gaming one step further and learn to dance. Just Dance 2022 will include the catchy beats of Dai Freyr & Gagnamagni’s Eurovision 2020 entry.
You can replicate the hip-swaying dance from ‘Think About Things’ in your living room, much to the chagrin of your family and friends. As you see yourself on the Eurovision stage, you’re working on your air grabs and jazz hands to maximize your score.
Just Dance has produced a teaser video to get fans excited about the game’s participation in this year’s festival. While some may argue that it’s premature to be thinking about Christmas, there’s no denying that Dai Freyr & Gagnamagni are perpetual presents!
This year’s version of Dai Freyr features a merry elf who dances for everyone’s enjoyment at holiday get-togethers. As we’ve come to expect from the Just Dance series, the environment is bright and colorful.
The dance-rhythm game, named after Lady Gaga’s first song, ‘Just Dance,’ has become one of Ubisoft’s biggest franchises. Since 2009, the album has been released on a yearly basis, and it features some of the most popular musicians of all time.
By participating in the Eurovision Song Contest in the video game series, Dai Freyr & Gagnamagni join an elite group of musicians. Only five songs have been submitted for Eurovision, one of which being ‘Think About Things.’
In the past, songs like Lena’s 2010 hit “Satellite” (Just Dance 3) and Netta’s 2018 hit “Toy” (Just Dance 2019) have crossed over. In the future, Little Big’s 2020 single “Uno” (Just Dance 2021) will do the same. The latter may be found in ABBA: You Can Dance, Just Dance Now, and the Just Dance Unlimited service, all of which are specialized ABBA games.
On November 4, 2021, the 2022 edition will be released all across the globe. For Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Stadia.
