UKRAINE – The Ukrainian National News Agency Ukrinform reported earlier this week that Ukrposhta, Ukraine’s state-run postal operator, would likely issue a stamp commemorating Kalush Orchestra’s triumph in Turin.
Ihor Smilyanski, the CEO of Ukrposhta, declared his intention to continue to honour the band’s achievements on Facebook earlier this week. Stamps were previously released in 2004 and 2016 to commemorate Ruslana and Jamala’s victories.
Ihor showed many designs for the stamp on his Facebook page. He also invited people to vote for their preferred design. Citizens may do so using Diia, Ukraine’s biggest digital app,

“We congratulate Kalush on winning Eurovision. You’re awesome! Ukrposhta issues stamps in accordance with the decision of our Art Council. But I think I will have enough arguments to approve and speed up the issue of the stamp dedicated to our winners. Just like we did with Ruslana and Jamala”.
