UKRAINE – Suspilne previously claimed that the Ukrainian government has granted Kalush Orchestra permission to leave the country in order to promote their participation and participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
“Stefania” is a song about Oleh’s mother, who first heard the song when the group was performing on the Vidbir stage. Sasha joked on social media about the fact that both his National Selection entry and his Eurovision entry are about moms when it was announced that he will be performing at Eurovision 2022.
Sasha Tab will join Kalush Orchestra as an official member and perform as a supporting vocalist for the group at Eurovision 2022.
Sasha Tab will take over as a backup vocalist for Johnny Strange in Kalush Orchestra, becoming an official member of the band. Kalush Orchestra will perform a series of promotional performances in the following weeks in order to collect cash for the rehabilitation of war-torn Ukrainian towns.
