This Saturday, the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest takes hold of the HMH Arena in Amsterdam. Co-host Kim-Lian van der Meij will wear a unique ice dress during her show block where she dances and sings the theme song Break The Ice. Besides the dress, large ice cubes fill the stage so the entire studio looks like a true winter wonderland!
Specifically for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Dutch costume designer Tycho Boeker designed a unique dress for Kim-Lian. Gerald van Windt takes care of the choreography, which includes actual ice breaking!
Kim-Lian: “Junior Eurovision Song Contest should always be grand and spectacular. Just like in 2007, a special dress was designed for me by Tycho Boeker. The design of the dress matches the ice theme Break The Ice perfectly! It feels really wonderful wearing something awesome like that. I love it!”
