SERBIA – After having participated in the Grand Final of the Eurovision 2022 Contest, where she reached the 5th place in the final classification, the singer Konstrakta, representing Serbia, was present on the Oko program presented by Jelena Mitrovic on RTS, where she spoke about her experience in Turin.
“I admit that in the semi-final we were very tense. I felt a huge unification not only in Serbia but a little everywhere… That’s why I wanted to go to the Final to complete the story. After passing, nothing else mattered to me” he stressed, mentioning that “Eurovision is just a festival and a television program. It requires a huge amount of preparation”.
Asked about the winning candidacy, “Stefania” by the Kalush Orchestra, the singer highlighted the existence “of very good elements, although she preferred last year’s song”, adding that she would give Ukraine 7 or 8 points, but her 12 points would be delivered to the song of Portugal, “saudade, saudade”, repeating the statements made on social networks, where he said that Maro would have been the fair winner of the contest.
In addition, the artist revealed that she will withdraw from public life in the coming months:
“I didn’t have that courage before, but now I think I deserve this peace,” she said, stressing that “I accepted this interview because I felt this obligation to the public service that supported me. But for the rest of the press, I’m going to need to stop. I’m just going to get some air, I’m not going anywhere. But I really need a break”.
