BULGARIA – He brought his country in the best ever scoreboard rank in the Eurovision Song Contest. Kristian Kostov is proven to be the biggest upcoming superstar of Bulgaria and not only as already he is invited in top Swedish summer festival and the top music event in Greece this summer.
Kristian just won four BG Radio Awards in Blagoevgrad in the 15th edition of the event: Male Singer of the Year, Bulgarian Debut, Bulgarian Ambassador and Bulgarian Song of the Year (with Pavell & Venci Venc’ for the song “Vdigam Level”). He was also nominated for Bulgarian Video of the Year.
He was nominated along with Pole Genova who won the Female Singer of the Year award.
Speaking to Hello! Russia Kristin says: “Russia is a large market and I certainly would not want to lose it. So now I’m working on new material, including some in Russian. I will say this. My aspiration is as follows: 50 percent for the whole world, 50 per cent — separately — for Russia.”
Kristian is currently working on his studies at Berklee College of Music in November in Boston. Although accepted to the school through the audition which took place in Germany due to high fees (41,000 USD / year) he is gathering money not allowing his parents to pay for them and therefore he will go to the US as of 2018 semester.
