UKRAINE – Following the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, Ukrainian capital is about to have a brand new arena which will serve multi purposes. Kyiv Mayor and his team revealed the plans saying that the city needs an adequate venue for any potential national or international event. The proposed arena will be build in an area of 1.5 hectare able to host up to 8,000 auditors. From sporting events to international ones the estimated project is budgeted to 9 million Euros. It was International Exhibition Centre which selected for Eurovision 2017 as the most adequate and modern structure to host such an international event. But the distance and some logistic features didn’t allow the Ukrainians to be totally happy for the event hosting. It is true that a better allocated venue might help a lot.
