RIGA, LATVIA – The 2016 edition of Supernova, the national final through which Latvia decides its entry and artist concluded and Justs Sirmais is the winner. With the song “Heartbeat” written by 2015 Latvian entrant Aminata Savadogo, will represent his country in Stockholm. Four songs participated tonight 100% by the public.

ARTIST INFORMATION
Justs Sirmais, also known as simply Justs, is a Latvian singer. He is currently competing in the second season of Supernova, with the song “Heartbeat”, written by Aminata Savadogo. On 31 January 2016, Sirmais was announced as one of the twenty competing acts in the second season of Supernova, the show used to select Latvia’s representative to the Eurovision Song Contest. He is competing with the song “Heartbeat”, written by Latvia’s 2015 entrant Aminata Savadogo. In the first heat on 7 February, Sirmais advanced to the semi-final after winning over 40% of the televote. He competed in the semi-final on 21 February and advanced to the final through televoting.
