ROME, ITALY – The final version of the Italian entry for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, “Grand Amore”, has been leaked online. Italian broadcaster RAI submitted the final version of the song to the EBU only yesterday after it was given an extension on the original deadline of March 16.
“Grand Amore” in its original format lasts longer then the permitted 3 minutes for Eurovision entries and the song’s composers reportedly had difficulties with shortening the piece. The trio Il Volo, which will represent Italy at this year’s show in Vienna, are among the top favourites to win.
