MONTENEGRO – Today Vladana released the long-awaited version of the song entitled “Respira”. As is evident from the lyrics, the singer keeps the meaning of the song, something she considers very important as it concerns the death of her mother.
Montenegro’s participation in this year’s competition was announced in early March. As it is known, Vladana will perform Breathe in English, although in the past she had left open the possibility of creating an Italian version of the song as a tribute to the host country.
A few weeks ago, Vladana, through an Instagram story on her personal account, presented to her fans a small excerpt from the upcoming release of the Italian version of the participation.
Vladana, a guest on the TV show “Pop Top”, had stated that the Italian version of Breathe would be more cinematic and that the recording would include an orchestra.
“My original idea was for the song to have an orchestral version. We came to the conclusion that it would sound nice in Italian. The language is melodic and of course, the fact that the Eurovision Song Contest is taking place this year in Italy.”
