KYIV, UKRAINE – Unfortunately, one of the most succesful countries in last few years, Ukraine, won’t present in Vienna next May. Maria Yaremchuk stays their latest representative.
Maria finished sixth in Copenhagen this May with her cathy tune Tick-Tock. Couple days ago, she has published a new song Против ветра (Against the wind), a beautiful ballad, where Maria proved her singing talent. You can listen to the song here

Ukraine debuted in 2003 and already won next year in Istanbul with Ruslana’s Wild Dances. Due to political problems there were doubts if the contest will be held in Kiev, but after all they were hosts and made a spectacular show. Two years in a row, in 2007 and 2008, Ukraine finished as a runner up and in 2011 and 2013, Mika and Zlata finished in top five, to be exact on fourth and third place.
