MADRID, SPAIN – It’s clear that a singer goes through many different guises prior to becoming the one that they are remembers for. When Barei presented “Say Yay!” as the song to be presented in Stockholm, she also presented another track, that was ultimately, not chosen.
That tune has had a fragment of it placed online by Barei, who will be including the full song and a few others on a remastered release of her current album “throw the dice”. The previously unknown tune, entitled “Who plays the drums” shares a similar sound to “Say Yay!” although it’s very clear that they are two very different songs.
The fragment of the tune can be heard in this post. A very different Barei was also present in 2011, her singing style being more contemporary Spanish while still maintaining that pop style, as can be seen from this videoclip for her song “Billete para no volver” (Ticket to not return)
