Eurovision Song Contest nowadays is complicated, chaotic, restricted and unfair. Poor countries do not have a reason to try, because they know that they will be deceived. Strong countries also have not reason to try, because they know that jury always will vote for them. This is powerful pathology giving rise to all the other pathologies in the world. Changing this state of affairs is the first step to healing the world.
If Sweden will want to organize Eurovision Song Contest, but they will have no chance because of 1st starting position, they can let go for 3 years for example. Then they will have much better starting position because of low place in five-year ranking and then they will have great chance for 1st place. Also this ranking not must be five-year. Maybe four-year ranking is better option.
It is very likely that distribution of points in final will be to fast and chaotic for many viewers. I’m not sure that they become accustomed after a several years, because this contest has also many other pathologies.
Of course last my comment here was great exaggeration, because even with my ideas Sweden could win Eurovision Song Contest, because quality of entries is most important.
In this situation, Sweden could always be below 1st place every year, but they will be at least 1st in this important and prestigious five-year ranking.
Long distributing of points was not problem. This was tradition of this contest and this was very important and interesting for many people for sure.
If Sweden will be forever 1st in this ranking, they will perform 1st every year in final. This is so fair.
1) Jury – out (completely from both semi-finals and final)
2) Reduce the number of finalists to 20 (big 6 outside automatic qualification)
3) Enter the five-year ranking for points for positions in last 5 finals,
1. 50
2. 46
3. 42
4. 38
5. 34
6. 30
7. 27
8. 24
9. 21
10. 18
11. 15
12. 13
13. 11
14. 9
15. 7
16. 5
17. 4
18. 3
19. 2
20. 1
Sweden should be leader with 193 points. The best positions in ranking – worst starting positions in final of ESC. Sweden should be 1st if they are 1st in this ranking. When two countries will have the same number of points, population of countries will be decisive. If Sweden and Russia will be 1st in ranking with the same number of points, Russia will occur 1st, Sweden will be 2nd in this situation. This so easy, obvious and clear. This is future of Eurovision Song Contest.
This is still not enough from small countries. I would like them to protest against harmful rules for them, because existence of jury only harms them. They are deceived in favor for stronger countries. How can they put up with such things?
