LITHUANIA – The second round of Pabandom I naujo! concluded today, with six more competitors advancing to the semi-finals on January 29th and February 5th.
The heat performances were pre-recorded earlier this week, with eleven artists taking the stage due to the withdrawal of former Eurovision artist Monika Linkytė and The Voice of Lithuania participant Artras Aleksiejus-Alekas.
It is unknown who was supposed to perform in this heat, but Basas Pegasas will fill one of their spots in the third heat after failing to perform in the first.
The outcome of Pabandom I naujo is decided by a jury as well as a public televote that takes place during the broadcast. Giedr Kiliauskien (former member of the electronic band Pieno lazeriai), Ieva Narkut (singer), Leonas Somovas (music producer and composer), Ramnas Zilnys, and Vytautas Bikus made up the jury for tonight’s show (composer).
The results came in at the end of the night, with Ieva Zasimauskait taking first place with the jury, followed by Titus ir Benas and Just Kraujelyt.
Despite finishing 10th on the jury, Emilijana won the public vote, finishing just ahead of Just Kraujelyt. Ieva Zasimauskait finished third with the public, and Titas ir Benas finished ninth with the audience despite finishing second with the jury.
