The Lithuanian entrant Andrius Pojavis and the Lithuanian national broadcaster met the media before their depart for Malmö and explained some interesting things to them. Head of Delegation, Audrius Giržadas said to the press that there will be a meeting of Andrius with the Lithuanian diaspora in a place about 100 km from the host city. No party and fests for Lithuanian delegation as there are restrictions in their budget, Audrius Giržadas concluded. Though Lithuanian entrant has been invited in the Irish and Swedish parties.
“We’re even thanked by organizers that we do not create a mess at Eurovision with promos. Anyway, all sorts of pamphlets, papers, rubber bracelets – sooner or later end up in trash”, said the LRT head of delegation. “Norwegians are still counting losses from the contest in Oslo. When you speak with the other heads of the delegations, all said that they would like to get into the top five or top ten, but not to win” he concluded.
He also noted that the preparations and the finances are adequate for Lithuanian entry this year although he emphasizes that in order to win you need millions like Azerbaijan in 2011. Regarding Junior Eurovision LRT also explained that they are most likely out of the 2013 edition.
Now when it comes to the stage presentation the Lithuanian singer said that what we will see is nothing more than what we saw in the national selection. The only change will be the outfit and without any pyros. He also noted that he will sing not only for himself but for entire Lithuania!
