NORTH MACEDONIA – In 2021, all 39 performers were required to shoot a backup performance as part of the various contingency procedures put in place by the EBU to guarantee that the song contest could take place in May regardless of what happened.
The live-on-tape performances were then presented a week after Eurovision 2021 at the Eurovision Song Celebration to highlight all of the hard work that had gone into preparing the additional performances.
North Macedonia has uploaded a recording of a portion of Andrea’s live-on-tape performance in Belgrade.
This afternoon, the twenty-second portion of the North Macedonian live-on-tape performance for Eurovision 2022 was revealed. The Macedonian delegation has published behind-the-scenes footage from the taping, which took place on Sunday in Belgrade.
ANDREA
Andrea was chosen to represent North Macedonia after winning Za Evrosong 2022, the country’s first national final since 2015. Andrea was proclaimed the winner because she scored the most points from the international jury, despite the fact that there was a tie for first place.
Andrea will compete on May 12 in the second part of the second semi-final.
Andrea’s performance in Turin will be titled “Circles.” It was written by Andrea and Aleksandar Masevski. Andrea got a โฌ2000 cash award for winning Za Evrosong 2022, which she used to modify the song before Eurovision.
