LISBON – This morning, we had the chance to follow Maltese entrant Christabelle on her visit to NOVA Faculty of medical sciences, home of the Lisbon Institute of Global Mental Health, one of the leading European research centres on the subject.
The young singer, who is national ambassador for mental illness awareness in her home island, met with the authorities of the institute as well as Portuguese deputy minister for health.
Christabelle delivered her message “break the taboo of mental illness” as the ambassador she is, in a sincere and very emotional way.
Both deputy prime minister of Malta, Chris Fearn, and President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca sent a video message to the young artist, in order to thank her for taking her role so seriously, and to wish her luck for the contest.
The meeting ended with a breathtaking acoustic performance of this year’s Maltese entry “Taboo”.
Whatever the outcome of the second semi-final for Malta, the message was spread! Proset!
